Well, my first submission to Deviantart. This is an early attempt to digitally create a pastel-sketch-like drawing. It seems like nothing, compared to the wonderful work of so many artists here. I guess, I'm just hoping to find some inspiration and motivation, to start drawing just for the fun of it again in here. I need to be more productive...

A friend of mine and her daughter got themselves those two little kitties, and they just kept doing this and made me feel like I was part of the family :-) I just wanted to try to capture this emotion in a picture. Don't know, what it is about cats. To me it always feels like an honor to be accepted by them.

ADORABLE!! i have a 1 year old black cat this reminds me of him when he was a baby :) thoguh i don't know much about this type of art, it looks very real

:-) Thank you. I was inspired by the little kitties of a friend of mine. They started doing that when they grew a little older (I guess they learned to socialize). I'm just fascinated by cats and it always makes me feel kind of proud to be accepted by them. Yes, it does seem like, I'm more the cat-loving type :-)
